If you see dark streaks on your roof in Crabtree, don't ignore them. Gloeocapsa magma is not ordinary dirt that can simply be washed — it's a living organism that feeds on your roofing. Sodium hypochlorite (SH) is the only recognized solution.
🔬 Why sodium hypochlorite (SH)?
SH is the only product recognized by shingle manufacturers (IKO, BP, CertainTeed) to safely and permanently eliminate organic stains on roofs. Combined with a professional surfactant, it penetrates protective sheaths and destroys organisms at the root. Results last 3 to 5 years.
